What is the meaning of our dreams last night? and may we interpreting our dreams? and let us examine on Meaning and tafsir or takwil this dream, and let's discuss about your dreams.

Nearly everyone in her dream ever experienced an event, and they are often just guessing what the meaning of a dream last night that they experienced. So that they are often anxious or unhappy just because his dream last night event. Though it did not actually happen, and only experienced in dreams.

In the Qur'an there are many verses that mention about the dream, there are some verses that describe the dream contained in the stories of the Prophets and the Prophet dream, there is also mentioned a dream interpreted as a miracles of the Prophet, as mentioned in the Qur'an:Al-Isro : 60:
وَإِذْ    قُلْنَا    لَكَ    إِنَّ    رَبَّكَ    أَحَاطَ    بِالنَّاسِ   ۚ    وَمَا    جَعَلْنَا    الرُّءْيَا    الَّتِىٓ    أَرَيْنٰكَ    إِلَّا    فِتْنَةً    لِّلنَّاسِ    وَالشَّجَرَةَ    الْمَلْعُونَةَ    فِى    الْقُرْءَانِ   ۚ    وَنُخَوِّفُهُمْ    فَمَا    يَزِيدُهُمْ    إِلَّا    طُغْيٰنًا    كَبِيرًا    ﴿الإسراء:٦۰﴾ 
It means:

And (remember) when We told you: "Verily (knowledge), your Lord has encompassed the people." And We did not made the vision (Dream) which We showed you but a trial for mankind, and (likewise) the Accursed Tree in the Qur'an. And We frighten them, but it only increases them in great insolence. (Qur'an:Al-Israa: 60).

فَلَمَّا    بَلَغَ    مَعَهُ    السَّعْىَ    قَالَ    يٰبُنَىَّ    إِنِّىٓ    أَرَىٰ    فِى    الْمَنَامِ    أَنِّىٓ    أَذْبَحُكَ    فَانظُرْ    مَاذَا   تَرَىٰ    ۚ    قَالَ    يٰٓأَبَتِ    افْعَلْ    مَا    تُؤْمَرُ    ۖ   سَتَجِدُنِىٓ    إِن    شَآءَ    اللَّهُ    مِنَ    الصّٰبِرِينَ   ﴿الصافات:١۰٢﴾ 

It means:

And when the boy reached (the age could) tried together Ibrahim, Ibrahim said: "O my son! I see in a dream that I must sacrifice. then see what you think! "He said:" O my father, do what you are commanded; God willing you will find me of the steadfast. "(Qur'an:Ashaffat: 102)."

قَدْ    صَدَّقْتَ    الرُّءْيَآ    ۚ    إِنَّا    كَذٰلِكَ    نَجْزِى   الْمُحْسِنِينَ    ﴿الصافات:١۰٥﴾ 


It means:

Indeed, you have fulfilled the dream, indeed, so we reward those who do good. "(Qur'an.Ashaffat: 105).

إِذْ    قَالَ    يُوسُفُ    لِأَبِيهِ    يٰٓأَبَتِ    إِنِّى    رَأَيْتُ   أَحَدَ    عَشَرَ    كَوْكَبًا    وَالشَّمْسَ    وَالْقَمَرَ    رَأَيْتُهُمْ    لِى    سٰجِدِينَ    ﴿يوسف:٤﴾ 

It means:

When Joseph said to his father, "O my father! I dreamed I saw eleven stars of the sun and the moon, I saw them prostrating themselves to me." (Qur'an. Joseph: 4).

In the above verses of Qur'an mean of dream are vision in his sleep in the form of guidance for them (the Prophet).

Dream according the Hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.

If we examine the dream by hadiths of the Prophet Mohammed s.a.w, that dreams are of two kinds, the good dreams and nightmares.

-The good dreams

Rasulullah SAW said:

It means:

"It's not stayed on the signs of prophethood except news excited". The Companions asked: "what's that news excited?",the Prophet said: "it's good dreams" (Hadist from Bukhari) .

Rosululloh s.a.w said:

It means:

"If someone of you dream pleasant then surely it is only from Allah, then should he praised Allah, upon his dream and he should tell about the dream. And when he saw nightmare then surely it is only a dream of the devil, then let him seek refuge in Allah from the evils and do not be telling this to someone, then the dream does not harm him (madharat). "(Hadist from Bukhari).

-The Nightmares.

From Abu Hurairah radiAlloohu 'anhu, the Prophet s.a.w said.

It means:

"The dreams are of three types: heart murmur, feared demons, and the good news of God." (Hadist from Bukhari 7017)

From Jabir bin Abdillah radialloohu 'anhu, that there is an Arab Bedouin came to the Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam, and asked, "O Messenger of God, I dreamed of my head was beheaded and rolled then I sprinted to chase him" .Nabi sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said to questioner:

"Don't you tell to other people about behavior of devils who playing yourself in dreamland"(Muslim 2268).

From some of the above hadith is concluded that a good dream it be told to others, but a bad dream that should not be told moreover interpreted.

And there is some suggestion that explaining how when we had a bad dream, and what should be done:

- It should not tell about the dream to others.
- Soon he turn face left and spit.
- Seek refuge in Allah s.w.t by prayer and supplication

Allohumma innii 'a'uudzubika ming syayaathiina, wa' anyyakhuula walaa takuunu syai 'aa ..
It means:

O god! I seek refuge in You from the temptations Devil and nightmares, and in fact all does not happened

Dreams according to the people of Java.

Most of the Java people has its own views about the dream, whether it is based on the beliefs of their ancestors or in fact also based on quotes from the Quran and Hadith, but in the elaboration and improfisation was with the version of Java, adjusting customs and culture of the land of Java.




according to the Javanese people dream was divided into three:

• Titoyoni.
• Gondoyoni.
• Puspotajem.

Titoyoni.

Titiyoni is a dream that occurred before midnight under (00-00 clock), this dream experts say only a small brain memory reactions, for example during the day or in the afternoon we are go to take a walk and see a lot of things on the road. then we dreamed of climbing a steep cliff or the like.
This dream can not interpret because it may carry over any sense of exhaustion previous activities.

This dream can also be regarded as heart whisper.

Gondoyoni.

Gondoyoni is a dream that occurs after midnight until just before the last third of the night which is approximately at (00:00 to 02:00). the dream of this kind have a meaning could still in to titoyoni or can also be the message from god, it depends on the situation of people who dream, including:
Whether the person is doing Riadloh, kholwat or ceremony concerned other.
Or that person been doing maksyiat such as making love with ones else not his wife or drunk etc.
Or those that sleep in a junub or eat over and so on.

All of which will be decisive in the interpreted of Gondoyoni dream.

But if the dream Gondoyoni is done by a man been doing maksyiat, or in junub, then this Gondoyoni dream can not be interpreted.

Puspotajem.


Puspo Tajem is a dream that happened late in the evening which is approximately 02 o'clock until dawn. This dream is almost largely is the message from god, but not all the dreams that occur late in the evening or in Puspotajem this is a hint. Because it is also influenced by the state of the people who dream, like gondoyoni earlier.

And usually dream Puspo Tajem is marked as follows:

• people who dream in a state of behavior is concerned, fasting, Kholwat or doing riadloh and are running practice or dhikr.
• People who are not in a state junub or dreaming big.
• People who dream not in disobedience.

• The dream is not easily forgotten, and is able to be described details although it has happened at a time when very long.

Puspo Tajem, this dream is usually experienced by people who make self her being closer to Allah, and those whose hearts have been purified so that the veil of the heart is already open.

There is a words of Kanjeng Sunan Kalijaga:

" In your chest there is heart, in your heart there is a sense , in the sense there is sirr in the sirr there is soul, in the soul there is light/Nur (nurulloh and Nur Muhammad)."

Sirr there interpreted as intuition, or receipt place of instructions from Allah s.w.t. As for the opening of the heart to penetrate into Sir or even a soul, it is necessary doing Kholwat and solitude (reopen the meaning song-sluku Sluku Bathok).

Dream interpretation.

Above many told about interpretation of dream, which is about how Islam teaches or gives direction about how if you have a dream, a good dream or a nightmare.

There was narrated in the Qur'an about the advantages given by God to the Prophet Joseph like interpreting dreams. Namely, as the story in the Qur'an:

وَكَذٰلِكَ    يَجْتَبِيكَ    رَبُّكَ    وَيُعَلِّمُكَ    مِن    تَأْوِيلِ    الْأَحَادِيثِ    وَيُتِمُّ    نِعْمَتَهُۥ    عَلَيْكَ    وَعَلَىٰٓ    ءَالِ    يَعْقُوبَ    كَمَآ    أَتَمَّهَا    عَلَىٰٓ    أَبَوَيْكَ    مِن    قَبْلُ    إِبْرٰهِيمَ    وَإِسْحٰقَ    ۚ    إِنَّ   رَبَّكَ    عَلِيمٌ    حَكِيمٌ    ﴿يوسف:٦﴾ 
It means:

And thus your Lord choose you (to be a Prophet) and taught unto you ta'bir of dreams and perfected His favor unto you and to the family of Jacob, as He perfected His blessings on two father [ 743] before it, (that) Abraham and Isaac. Your Lord is Knower, Wise. (Qur'an,Joseph: 6).

There is a question, can we interpret our dreams?,,,

And if the answer is based on the hadith below, we may interpret or to takwel our dreams, as long as will not harm him (madhorot) for self and others.

In the hadith of the Prophet Mohammed s.a.w explained as follows:

It means:

"If someone of you dream pleasant then surely it is only from Allah, then should he praised Allah, upon his dream and he should tell about the dream. And when he saw nightmare then surely it is only a dream of the devil, then let him seek refuge in Allah from the evils and do not be telling this to someone, then the dream does not harm him (madharat). "(Hadist from Bukhari)

Rosululloh s.a.w. said:

It mean

"The dream would happen as he did intepreted." Also an other said, "The dream was like a foot hanging over the before intepreted. If it has been disclosed, it is will happens. "So that was called in as-Silsilah al-Shahihah.

It is little description of the dream by Islam and dreams by people of Java.

And only good dreams is allowed to inteprating (Tafsir). and nightmares in an eerie sense it is not allowed to inteprated or to takwil.

quite so, if there are shortcomings and mistakes of this paper is ignorance and lack of knowledge of me, and if there is the sheer goodness from Allah s.w.t.
